Service: ReadyOps™ ("ReadyOpsChannel") — a private, invite‑only operational information network operated via the Signal app and managed by the All Hazards Consortium (AHC).
1) Definitions
• Account Holder: The individual/organization that purchases the initial subscription block and controls license assignments.
• Subscription Block: A 12‑month access period starting on the Account Holder’s original purchase date.
• License (Seat): A single‑user assignment granting access to ReadyOpsChannel during the active Subscription Block.
• Members: Users who are vetted and onboarded to ReadyOpsChannel under the Account Holder’s block.
2) Term of Service
• Each Subscription Block is valid for 12 months beginning on the Account Holder’s original purchase date.
• Additional licenses purchased later align to the original expiration date; they do not create a new block or extend the term.
• Access ends automatically at block expiration unless renewed.
3) Pricing & Billing
• Pricing is tiered based on the total active licenses under a single Account Holder.
• You are billed once per Subscription Block covering all licenses acquired for that block.
• Adding licenses mid‑term does not change prior license pricing; new licenses are billed at the tier that applies to the updated total seat count.
• A custom invoice may be issued for mid‑term additions.
4) Cancellations, Reassignments & Renewals
• Licenses are assigned to named individuals and may be reassigned once per term within the same Account Holder block upon written request.
• Canceling individual licenses during the term does not trigger refunds; freed seats may be reassigned for the remainder of the term.
• The Subscription Block automatically ends on the 12‑month anniversary. Renewal reminders are sent prior to expiration.
5) Refund Policy
• All sales are final once access credentials are issued due to immediate delivery of proprietary, private‑network information and reserved capacity.
• No partial/prorated refunds for early cancellation, lack of usage, or absence of specific events.
• Duplicate payments will be refunded after verification.
• If a verified platform issue on our side prevents access for 7+ consecutive business days and cannot be resolved, a partial credit or refund may be issued at our discretion.
6) Access, Onboarding & Acceptable Use
• Access is invite‑only and role‑driven; members must complete onboarding and agree to program rules.
• ReadyOpsChannel is for operational information only; promotional content, unrelated chatter, or sensitive PII should not be posted.
• You are responsible for your account security and device hygiene (e.g., OS and Signal updates).
• We may remove content or suspend access for misuse, security risk, or violation of these terms.
7) Platform & Third‑Party Services
• ReadyOpsChannel relies on the Signal app for end‑to‑end encrypted transport; Signal’s terms and privacy policy apply to app use.
• Program operations may use trusted vendors (e.g., billing, support, ticketing). We share the minimum necessary data with such processors.
8) Information Sharing & Moderation
• Posts you make are visible to members of relevant private groups.
• Designated moderators may relay verified, need‑to‑know updates between aligned sector/state groups to speed operational decisions.
• We maintain minimal logs of moderation actions (who/when/category) for program integrity.
9) Privacy
• Our privacy practices are described in the ReadyOps Privacy Policy located at: https://readyops.org/privacy.php.
• By using ReadyOpsChannel, you acknowledge that your information will be processed as described there.
10) Disclaimers
• ReadyOpsChannel is not a public warning system, 911 service, or emergency dispatch platform.
• Information may be time‑sensitive and member‑contributed; you remain responsible for your operational decisions and compliance with applicable laws and policies.
• We do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or accuracy of member posts.
11) Limitation of Liability
• To the maximum extent permitted by law, AHC, ReadyOps, and program staff are not liable for indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, loss of profits, or business interruption arising from use of ReadyOpsChannel.
• Our total liability for any claim relating to your Subscription Block is limited to the amount you paid for the then‑current block.
12) Indemnification
• You agree to indemnify and hold harmless AHC, ReadyOps, and program staff from claims arising out of your misuse of ReadyOpsChannel, your content, or breach of these terms.
13) Changes to Service or Terms
• We may update these Terms to reflect program, legal, or security changes.
• Material changes will be communicated via Signal and/or email with the effective date shown at the top of this page.
14) Governing Law & Dispute Resolution
• These Terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction] without regard to conflicts of law principles.
